Pool mosaic is a kind of mosaic, also known as swimming pool mosaic (English Name: swimming pool mosaic). The main materials include glazed mosaic, stone mosaic, glass mosaic, ceramic mosaic, shell mosaic, marble mosaic and other main materials. Mosaic is a kind of brick with a special way of existence. It is generally composed of dozens of small bricks to form a relatively large brick. It is widely used in small indoor walls and small outdoor walls or floors because of its small size and colorful. How to pave the pool mosaic?
1. Check the construction materials: before construction, carefully the art mosaics in the packing box to see whether there are enough mosaics to complete the work. On each packing box, we will display the product model, color number, production batch number and other details.
2. Flatten the wall foundation: this step is to flatten the wall foundation. The flattened wall must be smooth and of the same color.
3. Scribing: scribing on the wall to record the exact position of each mosaic. Spread the three paste mosaics side by side on the ground, so that the mortar joint between paste and paste is the same as that in one paste. Measure the overall width. Then draw the measured dimensions vertically and horizontally on the wall with a ruler and level to form a large square. Then divide the large square into 9 squares, and put 1 mosaic on each square.
4. Prepare tile glue: prepare tile glue mixed in proportion and apply tile glue with an ash shovel, but the applied area shall not exceed the area where 9 mosaics are placed. Firstly, the tile glue shall be smoothed with a smooth edge ash shovel, and then a layer of uniform serrated stripes shall be plastered with a serrated edge ash shovel. Now, the mosaic is ready to be laid on the wall.
5. Paving and fixing: because mosaics are pasted with mesh, they can be directly applied to the wall coated with ceramic tile glue. Lay the mosaic vertically. Please note: the gap between pastes must be consistent with the mortar joint of each paste.
6. Reinforcement: after each tile is positioned, tap the mosaic surface with a gray board to make it firmly stick to the wall.
7. Ensure that the mortar joints are consistent: after each brick is fixed and before the joint filler is placed, the gap between bricks must be determined as a uniform width. In this way, we need to use a small ash shovel to adjust the mortar joint. This is a process that requires patience in the process of paving mosaic, but it is an important link in the process of paving.
8. Joint sealant: prepare the required joint sealant. Use a small ash shovel, take a small amount of mixed joint sealant each time and apply it evenly on the mosaic surface. The small ash shovel should move diagonally, first from bottom to top, and then from top to bottom to ensure that all mortar joints can be completely filled and there is no excess residue.
9. Cleaning: start cleaning the mosaic surface before the filler is dry. Prepare two buckets, one with new detergent and the other with clean water. First, wet the dishcloth in the bucket with detergent without wring it dry, and then wipe the mosaic surface in circles; Then soak the sponge in the second bucket with clean water, and then wipe the mosaic surface with a sponge to remove all residues. Wipe the surface with a sponge again until it is clean.
